Pós instalação no Debian 4.0 Etch/Stable

1 – Introdução
————–
Este documento tem o objetivo de relatar os softwares que utilizo
sob o sistema operacional Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 Etch/Stable nas
seguintes situações:
1ª situação: um computador para utilização pessoal, isto é, desktop;
2ª situação: um computador para uso profissional, ou seja, servidor.

Antes de instalar qualquer software (que no Debian é conhecido
como pacote no formato DEB ou simplesmente pacote DEB), será
necessário modificar o arquivo ‘/etc/apt/sources.list’ para
acrescentar os repositórios (locais) de onde os pacotes DEB
serão copiados e instalados em seu computador. Você pode utilizar
os seguines métodos:
1º Copiar os pacotes DEB diretamente dos CD’s do Debian;
2º Copiar os pacotes DEB diretamente dos DVD’s do Debian;
3º Copiar os pacotes DEB diretamente da Internet.

Optei em utilizar o 3º método. Para isso, segui os seguintes passos:

- Efetuei logon com o usuário root;

- Editei o arquivo ‘/etc/apt/sources.list’ com um editor de arquivos
(você pode utilizar o vi, mcedit, nano, kwrite, gedit etc);

- Digitei o seguinte conteúdo no arquivo ‘/etc/apt/sources.list’:

- Logo após será necessário atualizar o banco de dados local do
comando ‘apt-get’. Deve-se executar este comando frequentemente para
que o ‘apt-get’ busque sempre a lista de pacotes DEB mais
atualizada. Digitei o comando:
apt-get update

- Por fim, para instalar um determinado pacote DEB, basta digitar
o comando:
apt-get install nome_do_pacote_deb

- Exemplos:
1º Para instalar o software ‘hdparm’, digitei o comando:
apt-get install hdparm

2º Para instalar o software ‘zip’, digitei o comando:
apt-get install zip

3º Para instalar o software OpenOffice.org Writer, digitei
o comando:
apt-get install openoffice.org-writer

2.19 Outras tarefas

2.19.1 Melhorar a aparência das fontes
————————————–
- Depois de instalar o X Window System, KDE, Gnome etc, utilize o
comando abaixo para melhorar as fontes dos menus e opções:

dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig

e selecione a opção autohinter. O script executa toda a configuração
necessária

- Logo após, instale o pacote abaixo:

gtk2-engines-gtk-qt – theme engine using Qt for GTK+ 2.x

Em vez disso, use um plugin do KDE Control Center chamado “GTK Styles and
Fonts”. Ele captura chamadas dos programas GTK, faz uma tradu��o e envia para
a biblioteca Qt renderizar! TODO MUNDO que usa KDE deveria ter esse plugin no
centro de controle, em vez de usar o Gnome Settings Daemon que � uma gambiarra
fedida sem tamanho. O nome “oficial” do m�dulo � Gtk-Qt Engine. Depois de
instalado, ele fica no Centro de Controle do KDE, categoria “Apar�ncia e
Temas”, item “GTK Styles and Fonts”. O software faz parte do Freedesktop.org
e pode ser encontrado aqui (apenas os fontes):

2.19.2 Instalar o Skype

- Acessar o website:
http://www.skype.com

- Na página que surgir, veja a logomarca do Debian e clique no link
chamado “Debian Etch” ou se você preferir, utilize o endereço abaixo
para efetuar o download da versã mais atual do Skype:
www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-deb

- Efetue logon com o usuário root.

- Acesse o diretório/pasta onde o arquivo ’skype-debian_2.0.0.72-1_i386.deb’
foi salvo. Logo após, vamos instala-lo com o comando:

dpkg -i skype-debian_2.0.0.72-1_i386.deb

OBS: Caso apareça a mensagem:

Selecting previously deselected package skype.

Será necessário instalar os pacotes ‘libqt4-core’ e ‘libqt4-gui’.
Para isso, digite:

apt-get install libqt4-core libqt4-gui

- Então para instalar o Skype, digite:

Instalando BrOficce no Slackware 12.1

Normalmente o Broffice.org baixado está compactado com tar.bz2. No site voce pode optar pelos pacotes .deb e .rpm. Escolha pacotes rpm. Baixe o arquivo. Vá até o diretório onde está o arquivo e o descompacte usando o comando:
# tar – xvjf nome_do_programa.tar.bz2
Em seguida entre no diretório criado. Dê o comando:
# rpm2tgz *.*
Isso faz com que os pacotes rpm tornem-se pacotes .tgz. E então o último comando:
#installpkg *.tgz
Neste momento o programa já foi instalado no sistema, mas os ícones não estarão disponíveis na bandeja do KDE. Então voce deve ir até o diretório “rdesktop” ou alguma coisa parecida com isso e lá vai ter um arquivo .tgz que uma vez instalado fará o serviço para você.

Instalação do Anjuta no Debian 4.0 e Ubuntu 7.04

Bom pessoal, é o seguinte, pra quem precisa programar em C/C++ e estava com dificuldades de instalar uma IDE boa para o Linux, segue esse pequeno tutorial da instalação do Anjuta IDE.

No terminal atualize a lista de pacotes dos seus repositórios:

# apt-get update

Com as listas atualizadas vamos instalar a ferramenta.

no Ubuntu 7.04 utilize:

# apt-get install anjuta automake autoconf g77-3.4 libglib2.0-dev libgnomeui-dev libtools g++

No Debian 4.0 utilize:

# apt-get install anjuta automake autoconf g77-3.4 libglib2.0-dev libgnomeui-dev g++

Note que a lista de pacotes é bem maior, porém com os pacotes acima o Synaptic consegue resolver todas as dependências necessárias e instalar todos os pacotes.

O atalho do programa fica no menu Aplicações > Programação > Anjuta IDE. Abra-o e ele irá perguntar o que deseja fazer.

Gere um novo projeto com o “Assistente de Aplicação”, depois selecione “Projeto GNOME 2.0″.

Escolha o nome de seu projeto e a linguagem a ser utilizada, quando concluir clique em avançar.

Ele gera automático um arquivo main para seu projeto com o famoso “Hello World”, para compilar utiliza-se F11, para executar F3.
